Zeke’s Landing Marina is gearing up for our inaugural Charter Boat Billfish Tournament. This will be an annual event. This Tournament is open to all Charter Boats with a Federal or State permit and an HMS Permit. Charter customers are welcome to book an available Charter Boat to participate. This event provides a unique opportunity for fishing enthusiasts to participate in a Billfish Tournament.
This year’s Tournament is scheduled to kick off on September 5th, 2023 at noon from Perdido Pass in Orange Beach, AL. Participants are required to return under the Perdido Pass bridge by 7pm on September 6th, 2023 to weigh in fish. All weigh-ins will take place at Zeke’s Landing Marina.
All are welcome at the weigh-in Party. There will be live music, drink specials, appetizers served, and prize giveaways. We kick off this party at 5pm on Wednesday September 6th, 2023. You don’t want to miss this event.
- $1,000 Entry Fee per boat
- Pre-Registration will start 8/1/23
- Deadline to register will be 8 am 9/5/23
- Boat must hold a valid Federal or State permit, an HMS permit, and a valid business license
- Charter Boats that meet the above qualifications are welcome from any area
- Entered boats may depart from any Port on the Gulf Coast no earlier than 12 pm 9/5/23
- Participants are required to return under the Perdido Pass bridge by 7 pm 9/6/23
- Each boat must assign a Tournament Designator that will attend the Captain’s Meeting at 9 am 9/5/23
- All fish must be weighed in at Zeke’s Landing Marina
- Minimum prize for the Top Fish is at $10,000 and may increase based on the number of boats participating in the event
- There will be 1st & 2nd place for each fish category
